Zhangzhou-Shantou High-Speed Railway (Fujian Section) Station Front Works

Project Period: 2024

Project Manager: Yang Shuo

Client: China Railway 24th Bureau Group Co., Ltd.

Equipments Supplied: Reinforcing Cage Welding Station & Integrated Steel Bar Sawing, Threading and Grinding Production Line

Zhangzhou-Shantou High-Speed Railway runs through Fujian and Guangdong provinces, serving as a critical part of the coastal corridor in China’s national “Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal” high-speed rail backbone network. Starting from Zhangzhou Station of Fuzhou-Xiamen High-Speed Railway, the line passes through Zhangzhou (Fujian), Chaozhou and Shantou (Guangdong), and connects to Shantou Station. With a total length of about 175 kilometers, it is designed with a maximum operating speed of 350 km/h.

As a key national cross-sea high-speed rail trunk line, the project imposes stringent requirements on steel processing accuracy, production efficiency and forming quality. The project adopts a collaborative operation mode of “Reinforcing Cage Welding Station + Integrated Steel Bar Sawing, Threading and Grinding Production Line”, realizing intelligent, standardized and integrated full-process steel processing, which perfectly matches the long construction period, large volume and high-compliance construction demands of high-speed rail projects.

It overcomes the disadvantages of traditional decentralized operation of single machines. The two sets of equipment are seamlessly connected and operate in coordination: raw steel bars are precisely cut to fixed length, efficiently rib-stripped and threaded, and finely ground at the ends by the sawing, threading and grinding production line, then directly transferred to the reinforcing cage welding station for main bar arrangement, stirrup welding and cage forming. No manual secondary handling or repeated adjustment is required in the whole process.

This solution not only reduces steel loss and labor input, but also eliminates process connection delays, ensures the continuous construction rhythm of station front works, and significantly improves the overall processing capacity.
